Incredibly, the works on this recording were all written in Vienna in the space of just 40 years. Included are late works of Mozart and Haydn, Beethoven’s powerful “Pathetique” Sonata and Schubert’s Opus 90 Impromptus, to many his greatest set of piano of pieces.
